The Right Move currently provides free scholastic chess tournaments at the following sites:<\/h2>\n

Riverbank State Park<\/a> Smith Auditorium, <\/strong>145th St & Riverside Drive, NYC.<\/h2>\n

Roberto Clemente State Park, 301 W Tremont Ave., Bronx, NY.<\/h2>\n

Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, 357 Clermont Ave., Brooklyn, NY.<\/h2>\n

When:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0See calendar of events<\/p>\n

You must Pre-register<\/a><\/strong> for a tournament, by using the “Register here” portion of the website www.chesstrm.org\/NYC\/<\/p>\n

Tell your full name, uscf ID# (or tell NEW), and the section.\u00a0 Be sure to indicate which tournament you are joining.<\/p>\n

Lists from coaches may be sent via an email to:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0mcmanusj363@gmail.com<\/p>\n

You are responsible to check the website www.chesstrm.org\/NYC\/ for errors and report them to above email.\u00a0 See the section title: “Check to See who is signed in…”<\/p>\n

All players in each Section play 4 games\u00a0 Rounds are at 10:00, 11:30, 12:45, 2:00\u00a0 (G\/30;d5) All: USCF rated.<\/p>\n

To sign up for a tournament you must be a current uscf member.\u00a0 Scholastic players can join\/renew for a yearly fee of $9 on-site at the tournament.<\/p>\n

Check in at the tournament before 9:30 to be listed to play round 1 so everyone can be seated ready to begin play at 10:00.<\/p>\n
