New Business:

King and Queen Sections will play 4 rounds beginning with the February 2019 TRM Tournament.

Membership drive “Reach Out 150”:  Join with The Right Move as we begin operation “Reach Out” in a membership drive to support the USCF.  Our goal is to encourage 25 chess players to join or renew their membership each month at the reduced rate of $9.00 for the entire year.

We will not return to Riverbank State Park before the April 2019 TRM Tournament.  We are deeply appreciative of to all the employees of Roberto Clemente State Park. They do tremendous attention each month to accommodate all the players, parents and coaches.

Although there is no concession stand at Roberto Clemente, we encourage parents and coaches to bring food in aluminum pan to heat on the outdoor grills.  Carl did an outstanding job bringing hot dogs this past month.

Sometimes players are moved into a different section then they were  registered under. This may be due to a number of reasons.  Our tournament staff responds to your email and phone calls, making adjustments.  Please realize that more than 100 players who do not show up are also being accounted for as our tournament staff continues to do genuinely professional service.

Attention Players:  If your USCF membership has expired you must renew it prior to the start of your game.  You may see Brother John when you arrive to pay one year renewal  ($9) to be entered into round 1 and staff will then handle renewal.  Players who wish to join USCF for $9 may also start in the rated section by completing the form before 9:15 through Brother John.
